Where to set store hours
In the admin portal, open the Availability section. You’ll typically see tabs or controls for store hours, barber availability, and blocks.
Setting open/close times per day
- Select the day (Monday, Tuesday, etc.).
- Set the open time and close time.
- Save your changes.
Set hours that reflect reality — including the time you’re actually taking customers, not just when you unlock the door. If you open at 9:00 but first appointments should start at 9:15, consider setting open time accordingly.
Marking a day as closed (e.g., Sunday)
If you don’t trade on a certain day, mark it as Closed (or remove hours for that day). This prevents customers from seeing bookable slots and avoids confusion on the booking page.
How store hours affect the booking page
Store hours are the first filter for availability. Customers can’t book outside store hours, even if a barber schedule technically includes it. Think of store hours as the outer boundary.
What customers see
- Only days and times within store hours are displayed as potential booking windows.
- If a day is closed, it won’t offer times.
- Actual bookable slots also depend on barber schedules and blocks.
Common gotchas
Bookings are missing for a day you’re open
Check that (1) store hours are set for that day, (2) barbers are active, and (3) barbers have availability scheduled. Missing any one of those can eliminate bookable slots.
Bookings are appearing too late/early
Recheck open/close times and ensure you’re using the correct time zone for the store.
