Logging into the admin portal
Managers run Cutline from the admin portal (often linked from your internal tools or shared in onboarding). If you don’t have access, ask your Cutline admin to invite you or reset your login.
Admin dashboard overview
The dashboard is your “control room”. Depending on your configuration, you’ll see a snapshot of today’s appointments, current queue activity, and any alerts that need attention.
Navigating the key sections
Stores
This is where you manage your store settings: staff lists, display names, and store details. If you have multiple stores, double-check you’re editing the correct one.
Availability
Availability controls when customers can book. You’ll set store hours (open/close times), each barber’s weekly schedule, and one-off blocks like lunch, training, or days off.
Appointments / Calendar
The calendar is where you view upcoming appointments and manage changes. You can create bookings on behalf of customers, reassign to another barber, cancel, and check customers in when they arrive.
Stats
Reporting helps you answer practical questions: “Which days are busiest?”, “Are wait times improving?”, and “Who’s handling the most tickets?”. Use it to plan staffing — not to micromanage.
Recommended first-time setup checklist
- Set store hours so booking slots match when you’re actually open.
- Add barbers and confirm active/inactive status.
- Set barber availability (weekly schedules).
- Add blocks for lunch and known time off.
- Share your public booking link and test a booking end-to-end.
