The basics

Cutline’s barber console is designed to be simple: you’ll see your upcoming work (appointments and walk-ins), start a service when the customer sits down, and mark it done when you finish. Those two taps do the heavy lifting — they keep the queue order correct and make wait-time estimates more accurate.

If you only remember three things

  1. Start as soon as the customer sits down — it changes the ticket to In Service.
  2. Done when you’re finished — it closes the ticket and records the finish time.
  3. Break mode when you step away — so the kiosk doesn’t route fresh walk-ins to you.
